Last updated August 11, 2026
These terms govern your use of emotions.family. By using the app or website, you agree to them. Please read them carefully.
Using emotions.family
emotions.family is a tool for understanding and journaling your emotions. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial reflection. You are responsible for the content you log and for keeping your account secure.
You agree not to misuse the service, including attempting to disrupt it, access it in unauthorized ways, or use it to harm others.
Not medical advice
emotions.family is an educational and self-awareness tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
If an emotion becomes too overwhelming, lasting, or isolating, please reach out to someone you trust or a qualified professional. If you are in crisis or may be a danger to yourself or others, contact your local emergency services immediately.
Your content
You own the content you create in your journal. You grant us the limited permission needed to store and display it back to you so the app can function. We do not claim ownership of your entries.
Accounts
You sign in with a passwordless email link. You are responsible for maintaining access to the email address associated with your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
Availability and changes
We work to keep emotions.family available and reliable, but we provide it on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. We may update, change, or discontinue features over time.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above; continued use after changes means you accept them.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, emotions.family and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
